Dr. Pierre has specialized training in providing crisis management/intervention, Dialectical Behavior Therapy Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy supportive therapy for those diagnosed with severe mental illness (e.g., schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder). She also has extensive training and over 17 years of experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorders. She also has training in conducting consultation and supervision. Dr. Pierre is passionate about social justice, increasing diversity awareness, teaching, supervising, and supporting others to accomplish their goals. Additionally, she is dedicated to serving individuals and communities by providing a therapeutic venue where all individuals can have access and receive an exemplary standard of mental health services.

She plays a vital role in coordinating day to day operations of the practice. Among a wide range of responsibilities, she facilitates insurance verifications, updates patients' accounts, and handles all office calls and inquiries.

Her previous experiences as a Housing Case Manager at Ozone House in Ann Arbor and a Youth Specialist at the Ruth Ellis Center in Detroit have deepened her understanding of vulnerable populations, particularly BIPOC LGBTQIA+ youth.
Keisha has a keen interest in working with BIPOC individuals and couples, including those in monogamous, non-monogamous, and polyamorous relationships. She welcomes clients from all backgrounds, particularly those who identify as queer or LGBTQ+. Her goal is to provide inclusive and supportive services tailored to the unique experiences of each individual and couple.
